POPLEA - « Le Fil de Nos Pensées » – Diptyque – Popléa, 2026 XXL

“Le Fil de Nos Pensées” – Diptyque – Popléa, 2026 Two works, an invisible dialogue between matter, movement and thought. With Le Fil de Nos Pensées, Popléa offers a contemporary diptych at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where concrete, pictorial matter and relief meet in a minimalist yet deeply expressive composition. Each work rests on a genuine, hand-applied and carved concrete surface, creating a mineral texture rich in roughness, cracks and irregularities. The painting then structures the whole, pairing the softness of white with the depth of a mauve-tinged pink and the intensity of black. At the heart of each composition, a black raised thread freely traces curves, loops and interlacing. It seems to materialize the path of our thoughts, sometimes fluid, sometimes complex, always in motion. In the spirit of Pierre Soulages’ explorations of matter and light, Popléa investigates the capacity of relief to transform the perception of a work. The black lines, deliberately elevated, catch the light and cast delicate shadows on the surface. Depending on the lighting and viewing angle, these shadows evolve, creating new contrasts and giving the impression that the lines move. The concrete provides a raw, architectural dimension, while the colorful geometric shapes and the freedom of the line introduce softness and spontaneity. Together, the two compositions seem to communicate through a silent language, like two minds connected by an invisible thread. “Le Fil de Nos Pensées” is a work that is painting, sculpture, and alive, where light does not merely illuminate the material: it participates in its creation. A singular diptych, transforming the simplicity of a line into a poetic reflection on the invisible links that bind us. toiles vendues déjà montées sur chassis www.poplea.art The artist Popléa: If you own this work, you hold an authentic piece signed Popléa. But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym. He or she has not yet revealed their identity — intentionally. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment: Creating without a name, without status, without biography. The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel. The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wanted to explore another path, freer. Refusing filters, codes, discourses. Refusing that it is always the same people — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value. Perhaps what you own is the start of something. Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now. Both options are beautiful. And in the end, perhaps that is the true luxury. The work is hand-signed, ready to hang, shipped in a 4x4 packaging with insured delivery included. Happy bidding Latest buyer comments: "Very happy with my purchase! The piece I received is magnificent; the technical precision and the effort it required are immediately evident. The packaging was especially meticulous." "Exceptional packaging for a work that is just as exceptional! Thanks to the artist for this quality work."
