Rare Renaissance-era ceramic tile depicting a bourgeois scene in a floral setting. A young woman richly dressed leans on a coat of arms depicting an eagle with outstretched wings. On the coat of arms, a basket of fruit Germany, Renaissance period, circa 16th/17th century Orange-red ceramic - glaze traces on the lower part - Dimensions 9.5 cm x 9.5 cm x 1.5 cm - Perfect condition - no restoration. Provenance: Germany, Galerie V.Z.N Previously: Important private collection of antique tiles acquired in the 1970s The seller can prove that the lot was obtained legally, provenance declaration seen by Catawiki.
