comprising six three-pronged forks and six knives. The pistol-shaped handles are made of white porcelain and feature a blue decoration known as ‘Formal Daisy’, consisting of festoons and scrolls in the French style. The ferrule rings are silver. The prongs and blades are made of steel. The knife blades are all marked ‘IEFFERYS’ for Jefferys, cutler. England, Royal Worcester Porcelain Company for the handles, second half of the 18th century, circa 1765. Total length of a knife: 27.7 cm – Length of a knife handle: 10.8 cm; Total length of a fork: 21 cm – Length of a fork handle: 9.7 cm; (Visible damage and missing parts).
