ROSENSTIEHL (Agnès) — BREASTS ROSENSTIEHL (Agnès). Breasts. Paris, Éditions Autrement, “Petite Collection de Peinture,” 1997. Small square album, publisher’s illustrated hardcover, 44 pp., color reproductions of works by the great masters. ISBN 2-86260-744-4. The BnF bibliography confirms the 1997 Éditions Autrement edition and its page count. A small art book conceived by Agnès Rosenstiehl exploring the depiction of the female breast in the history of painting, based on a juxtaposition of short texts and paintings. Reproduced works include those by Luis de Morales, Titian, and others. Condition: generally good; hardcover shows scuffing and superficial marks. Interior is clean. A handwritten note reading “Toto” on the “This book belongs to” page constitutes the main flaw.
