Rough Ride - Newel Hunter

Rough Ride by Newel Hunter Painting 18.0 x 24.0 :: “Rough Ride” is a striking abstract composition created with bold sweeping black acrylic strokes on white 18 x 24 inch heavy-duty multi-media paper -- easy to mount and frame. The brushwork is dynamic and varied ranging from thick heavy marks to finer more delicate lines. There are areas where the pigment seems to bleed and spread creating a sense of fluidity and movement. The contrast between the deep blacks and the stark white space enhances the visual tension and energy in the piece. The overall effect is one of controlled chaos with the strokes intersecting and layering in a rhythm that feels both spontaneous and deliberate. Though abstract this piece harnesses the power of monochrome to evoke emotion and intrigue -- a Hunter hallmark. Rough Ride is signed on the front and ships carefully packaged in a mailing tube ready to mount and frame and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Abstract Width: 18.0 Height: 24.0 Depth: 0.2 Weight: 0.5 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
