Rudolf Draheim (XX-XXI) - O.T.

Rudolf Draheim (born 1941 in Dembno, West Prussia), German painter and graphic artist Title: O.T. Year of creation: 2019 Technique: Oil on canvas Dimensions: 150 × 30 cm Frame: Unframed on stretchers Signature: Lower left signed by the artist and dated "19" Uniqueness: Yes The square oil painting belongs to Rudolf Draheim's body of work, the "Panta Rhei" series. The Greek-derived expression means "Everything flows" and describes the idea of a world in a continual process of change. The composition is defined by intense blue, green and yellow, as well as individual red and dark color fields. Horizontal, partly smudged color gradients meet strong vertical forms and thickly applied patches. This creates an abstract, atmospheric landscape that oscillates between movement, spatial depth, and color intensification. Rudolf Draheim began painting in 1981 and in 1984 co-founded the Nalepa Gallery in Berlin. His works have been shown, among other places, at the Münchhausen Museum in Bodenwerder, at the Georgian National Museum in Tiflis, at the HeroAll Art Salon in Chengdu and at Fetzer Gallery. Since 1997, works by the artist have been part of the German Bundestag Art Collection. Other works are located, among others, in corporate and private collections. The work comes from a private collection. The work is in good overall condition. No major damages or noticeable restorations are visible. The painting will be shipped unframed on the canvas. Shipping is carried out carefully and securely packaged for transport. Pickup is also possible by prior arrangement.
