Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he has worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest level in resin processing, varnishing, and chroming. The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to release the artistic urgency he had always cherished. What for decades had been "just" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisan know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent. Title - Curiosity is woman resin - Hand-signed 2024 Technique: resin Dimensions: 26x23x14 cm Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed. Edition: limited edition 499 ex - fuchsia gold The work will be carefully packaged and shipped by courier with tracking. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious showcases. Among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Show "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Center for Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From artisan to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse proves how a lifetime of experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not just an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work sits squarely in the lineage of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical light, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handcrafted piece, conceived and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural feature of fully manual workmanship. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with only a soft cloth, avoiding detergents.
