Schloss Lieser was revived by Thomas Haag – son of Fritz Haag's Wilhelm – who turned this once-faded Mosel estate into one of the region's brightest stars, with holdings in great sites such as the Brauneberger Juffer and its Sonnenuhr. The Juffer Sonnenuhr is the warm heart of the Brauneberg hill. 2019 was a great, racy Mosel vintage. Stephan Reinhardt from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate gave it a rating of 95, and Jancis Robinson gave it 17+ out of 20.
