with a silver mount in the shape of an antique vase with a pedestal and a circular neck, decorated with a frieze of twisted flutes. The body is decorated with openwork godrons and a frieze of flowering and star-adorned branches. The handles are shaped like ram’s heads, each holding a ring in its mouth. Brussels, 1794. Goldsmith’s hallmark featuring a tower for Dutalis. Height: 14 cm. Weight: 237 g. With its blue-tinted glass lining. Provenance: Christie’s Amsterdam auction, 17 October 1984 .
