Table lamp (2) - Brass - Empire Style Lamps

A beautiful set of two classic vintage table lamps, finished in polished brass and fitted with elegant cream/white lamp shades. The lamps have a distinctive and richly detailed design. The base consists of several turned and bulbous elements and extends into a wide, round base plate. Above the middle section are two graceful light accents, giving each lamp a lovely classical appearance. Particularly notable are the decorative metal ornaments on top of the lamp shades. In combination with the brass finish, these give the lamps a stately and decorative look. The lamp shades are finished in a light cream/white color and are edged with a brass-colored trim on the top and bottom. When the lamps are lit, the shades provide warm and atmospheric illumination.
