Themed collection - handcrafted nativity scene

Lot of Handmade Ceramic Figurines – Pastoral Scene / Nativity (25 Pieces) Large and captivating vintage collection consisting of 25 terracotta figurines, entirely handmade, sculpted and painted. The lot constitutes a rich and evocative pastoral scene, perfect for enriching an artistic nativity scene or as an autonomous decorative collection. All pieces date from 1984 and bear an engraved signature on the base by an unknown Italian artist. The workshop's style recalls the great tradition of Italian handmade ceramics, characterized by a tactile and vigorous modeling in which the marks of handwork and the artisan's tools remain visible, making each piece a unique work. Detailed composition of the lot (25 pieces in total): • 5 terracotta camels/dromedaries in natural ochre and orange tones, depicted crouching. • 1 ceramic elephant with a matte gray finish. • 1 turkey with multicolored details. • 1 Infant Jesus in swaddling clothes, molded in white ceramic. • 1 "Pond" element in ceramic in shades of blue, a base for aquatic animals. • 16 Birds (Hens, Ducks and Chicks): including adult hens placed on green bases, ducklings for the pond, and a series of tiny chicks in miniature coordinated. • Year of production: 1984 (year engraved on the bottom). • Artist: Unknown signature (engraved on the base). • Material: Hand-sculpted terracotta and ceramic, partially painted and glazed. • Origin: Italy (handmade craft). • Condition: The figurines are in generally good vintage condition, but show obvious and widespread signs of aging. As pieces over 40 years old, light surface patinas, small imperfections in the color application, and physiological signs of wear on the ceramic are visible, attesting to their age and authenticity. Please carefully view the photographic gallery, which is an integral part of the description, to verify the condition of each individual element.
