Vintage Curb Chain Bracelet in High-Carat Gold, Vicenza, c. 1985

According to its hallmark, the piece of jewellery was crafted by the Nicoli-Scola goldsmiths in Vicenza. This northern Italian city, famous as the birthplace of Andrea Palladio, is also one of the most important centers of Italian goldsmithing. Their workshops are renowned for combining a long tradition of craftsmanship with technical precision and a special sensibility for the sensual appeal of gold. Created in the 1980s, the bracelet features a classic design whose beauty lies precisely in its timelessness. A concealed box clasp with an additional safety latch blends almost invisibly into the chain pattern and ensures a secure and comfortable fit. The bracelet found its way to us here in Berlin.
