A Wedgwood creamware (Queen's Ware) bain-marie dish of oval, shallow form. The piece features two integrated loop handles at the ends. The body is finished in an off-white glaze and decorated with a single dark brown line around the rim. A small monochrome crest is centered near the rim, depicting a lion rampant holding a cross or staff. The underside bears an impressed Wedgwood factory mark consisting of the letters WEDGWOOD. The underside retains several provenance labels, including a circular Rubin Collection sticker, a Skinner auction label, and a Christie's tag attached to one handle.
