Primitive steam passenger locomotive at center with rural landscape in the background. Below bank title and associated guarantee text along with a pair of underprinted red "2" protectors evident at left and right. Subsidiary vignette of a young woman at left opposite a seated figure similar to Columbia seen at right. A total of (6) rounded POCs may be seen above the signature panels and manufacturer's imprint at left. This institution ultimately became the First National Bank of West Killingly (Charter# 450) in 1864. Estimate: $400 - $600. Provenance: From the Caine Collection.
