Winchester Model 1897 12 gauge slide-action shotgun, serial 616096, manufactured in 1914. Takedown model with 30" round barrel, 2-3/4" chamber and Full choke. Standard tubular magazine, exposed hammer and grooved walnut slide handle. Walnut buttsto ck inset with a duck silhouette. Metal surfaces exhibit substantial thinning and loss of original finish with areas of brown patina, oxidation, scratches and handling wear. Rear stock has a crack behind the receiver. Wood exhibits scattered scratch es, dents and finish wear consistent with use. Bore is frosted with no major oxidation. shipping info This item can be shipped in-house.
