A study by Martin Zlatohlávek and Giulio Bora, accompanied by a comprehensive catalog raisonné of the drawings. Numerous reproductions, with detailed entries examining technique, attribution, provenance, and relationships with painted decorations. The book documents, in particular, the artists of the Campi family and several major works of Lombard Mannerism. Entry no. 78, reproduced here, examines a preparatory drawing for the Chariot of the Sun, associated with the decorative works of Antonio and Giulio Campi.
