Prop Store's remarkable four-day auction takes place in London between 9 and 12 November. There are 1,785 lots in total, covering memorabilia within film, TV, and music. Prop Store was founded by Stephan Lane in 1998 and has steadily evolved into one of the world’s premier providers for high-end entertainment memorabilia.
There are many impressive items currently up for sale. The star attraction of the auction undoubtedly belongs to the golden head of C-3PO, a piece used in George Lucas’ 1977 classic Star Wars: A New Hope. While it's just the head and not the entire body, the estimated value is set at $600,000 to $1,200,000, a figure that some consider to be quite conservative.

The consignor of the C-3PO head is none other than Anthony Daniels, the actor who played C-3PO in eleven Star Wars movies. Given the provenance, the level of interest in this lot is significantly high, as collectors actively seek such details when buying high-end collectibles.

Another highly iconic and recognisable movie prop, also coming from the Star Wars franchise, is a screen-used fighter pilot helmet. The lot is expected to sell between $360,000 to $730,000.

Additionally, the November auction showcases other remarkable film memorabilia that doesn't have any ties to Star Wars. This includes a bullwhip wielded by Harrison Ford in his role as Indiana Jones and Leonardo DiCaprio's complete costume from Titanic when he portrayed Jack Dawson. Both the bullwhip and the custom are expected to fetch at least $120,000 each.
