Among the standout examples in the sale is this pair of earrings by Eileen Coyne. Eileen Coyne is a multifaceted creative working across many media, from painting to interior design, embroidery and jewellery, the latter for which she is perhaps best known. Her style reflects her interests in travel and in antiquity, as depicted in this pair of silver gilt amethyst earrings. These are the shape of a wing with round amethyst stones scattered across them, as if they perhaps belong to a butterfly. They are a statement piece, perfect for any special occasion.

This dazzling bracelet is perfect as either a statement or an everyday piece. The white-gold bangle is hinged, the top half set with a row of baguette-cut diamonds, the lower half a plain bangle, meaning it offers something special without drawing too much attention to itself. The box clasped is concealed, and has a figure-of-eight safety catch. It has been tested as approximately 18ct gold.

Russian wedding rings have become must-have fashion pieces. The ring design features (typically three) woven, interlocking rows of bands. It is known by several names, including rolling and trinity rings, but is mostly commonly known as Russian wedding rings as the design first appeared in 19th-century Russia, where it became a popular wedding ring option. This particular example has three interlocking ‘D’ section bands in rose, white and yellow gold, ring size L.

If you’re in the market for a Cartier watch there are two superb examples in the sale. Piqué is a technique in which gold or silver is inlaid in tortoiseshell and sometimes ivory or mother-of-pearl. Here, the technique is applied to tortoiseshell drop earrings of the Victorian era – to remarkable effect. The exquisite pieces also come with a similar pendant, to fully round out this look.
