Created specifically for racecar drivers, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the most iconic watches on the market. It was designed in 1963, and since then has remained a symbol of elegance and speed. Paul Newman famously sported a Rolex Daytona after he received it as a gift from his wife, Joanne Woodward, and wore it daily during his racing career. The model seen here comes from the third series introduced in 2000, and features a tachymeter, chronograph and chronometer in addition to the watch function.

Since 1945, the Rolex Datejust has captivated watch enthusiasts with its timeless style and unparalleled functionality. Steeped in legend, this enchanting watch is beloved by men and women alike as a luxurious and functional accessory. CHRONEXT is offering an exciting opportunity to win a classic Datejust in vintage condition, valued at £4,500. Channel Agent 007 with this beautifully detailed Omega Seamaster. In 1995, Pierce Brosnan donned a Seamaster for his role as James Bond in GoldenEye, and ever since then the watch has been associated with the iconic spy. It was first designed in 1948 and featured an O-ring gasket, which set it apart from other watches on the market – it provided a waterproof seal and made the watch less sensitive to pressure and temperature changes. The face of the Aqua Terra is decorated with a view of earth on a titanium plate, and the dial’s exterior shows a list of global destinations with a world timer indicating their local time.

The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch is another marvel of watchmaking, and it made history as the watch astronauts wore during NASA’s Gemini 4 spacewalk in 1965 as well as the infamous moon landing during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. The manual winding watch was introduced in 1957 as a racing chronograph, acting as an upgrade to earlier chronographs from the 1920s and ‘30s. To this day, the Speedmaster Professional is one of a few watches approved for spaceflight by NASA and it is the only model qualified for EVA (extravehicular activity) on spacewalks.

In 1884 at the tender age of 24, Léon Breitling founded his watchmaking company in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, and made a name for himself by producing chronographs and complicated watches. The Breitling Transocean was first introduced in 1958 as a sleek, upgraded alternative to the popular Navitimer, and was revived in 2010 as a chronograph model after the spirit of the original. The Transocean 38 seen here has a gold case that contrasts nicely with the dark, elegant background, and includes both a chronograph and a chronometer.

Women have started favouring chunky men’s watches over delicate, jewel-encrusted ladies’ designs in recent years, and the Breitling Galactic 32 Sleek Edition provides a substantial case with a streamlined design that doesn’t overpower the wrist. It combines style with performance, featuring a mother-of-pearl dial in a water-resistant rose gold case with a SuperQuartz™ movement that’s ten times more precise than standard quartz.
